Eric Rodriguez Charged in Stabbing Death of Jessie Fisher
Friend says the pair got engaged last week

Police have arrested 26-year-old Eric Keith Rodriguez and charged him in the stabbing death of Jessie Fisher, 23. Police were called to the 4300 block of Northeast Ainsworth Street Tuesday evening, July 24 and found both Fisher and Rodriguez had been stabbed. Neighbors reported an argument preceded the calls. Rodriguez was released from hospital Wednesday and is in the Multnomah County Jail charged with Murder (Domestic Violence) and Unlawful Use of a Weapon (Domestic Violence).Fisher was a graduate of Del Norte High School in Crescent City, Calif. Her friends told the Del Norte Triplicate that she and Rodriguez had been together for about a year and got engaged a week ago.
“She really was the light amongst all of her friends,” Tayshia Mode told the Triplicate.
