Position Description:
Reporting to the Office of the Provost, the Dean of the School of Naturopathic Medicine provides the necessary leadership to ensure high quality, learner-centered programs that graduate competent, confident, and successful physicians. The dean leads the faculty in the development of all curricula of the school, oversees the development and implementation of competencies that drive the content and delivery of education, ensures ongoing assessment and continuous improvement, and provides leadership in the identification and use of appropriate learner-centered delivery systems and methodologies. The dean is responsible for hiring and evaluating all full-time and part-time faculty and works with the provost and academic team in the assessment of faculty development needs and the implementation of a sustainable academic career path. The dean is responsible for development and assurances that the school operates in accordance with the approved budget.
