Legendary singer Patti Labelle will perform in Portland 7:30 pm Sunday Sept. 20 at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
She is expected to perform “Lady Marmalade,” “On My Own,” “New Attitude,” “If Only You Knew,” “If You Asked Me To,” “Stir It Up,” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” among her other hit tunes.
Known as “The Queen of Rock ‘n Soul,” Patti has been thrilling audiences for more than four decades with her stunning soprano vocals.
She has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Apollo Hall of Fame, and the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame. In 2005, the World Music Awards presented her with the coveted Legend Award.
Labelle has sold more than 50,000,000 records worldwide, and Rolling Stone has included her in its 100 Greatest Singers List.
