The Black United Fund of Oregon announced that it is partnering with Linfield College to offer an ACCESS scholarship to one lucky student from the Class of 2017.

If you know a student who has already been accepted, or applied to Linfield College for Fall 2017, please encourage them to apply for the ACCESS scholarship. 

Here are the qualifications: 

  • Must be an Oregon resident
  • Be of African/African American/African Diaspora/Black/Afro Decent
  • GPA of 3.25 or Higher
  • Score 1100+ on the SAT (Critical Reading & Math) or 24+ on the ACT
  • Attend Linfield College during 2017-18 Academic year 

The Linfield ACCESS scholarship is a $10,000 annual, renewable scholarship for up to four consecutive years, starting in 2017-18. 

The award is contingent on acceptance to Linfield College.
