Meals on Wheels Thanksgiving delivery will be a little different this year. Rather than delivering a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day, all homebound participants will receive a chilled Thanksgiving meal with their regular delivery earlier in the week. But they do not want anyone to be lonely on Thanksgiving, so they are recruiting 500 volunteers who would like to call their homebound participants on Thursday, Nov. 26.

Meals on Wheels are also expanding their regular Friendly Chats program to include multiple languages. If you are fluent in a language other than English and would consider making calls to homebound seniors on a regular basis, let  them know!
