The Portland Veterans Day Parade Planning Team is issuing a passionate call to arms, seeking dedicated volunteers to join the ranks and help orchestrate a spectacular tribute to our nation's heroes. This annual event, a symbol of unwavering appreciation for those who have served, is slated to grace the streets of Northeast Portland on November 11, 2023 at 10 a.m., beginning on NE Beech Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and concluding at NE Sumner and MLK.

The Portland Veterans Day Parade is a cherished tradition, a moment when the region comes together to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our veterans. It's a day to salute their courage, resilience, and commitment to safeguarding our freedom.

According to organizers, volunteers are the lifeblood of this parade, and their dedication ensures a seamless and memorable experience for participants and spectators alike. Whether you can lend a hand with logistics, assist with crowd management, or help break down the closing ceremony area, your contribution will be invaluable.

Planning Team Lead, Napoleon Hodgers, remarks, "We're inviting everyone in the community to be part of this remarkable event. Let's stand together to thank our Veterans and create cherished memories for them."
