Jefferson High School revealed the identity of its 2012 Rose Princess, Thursday March 8. Princess Janae Brown will represent the school on this year's Rose Court.

My English teacher: "Mr. Kulak is amazing. The way he thinks is above and beyond. He examines and breaks down things from every angle you could think of in ways that could never be imagined. He questions your thoughts, not to make you mad or change your opinions but to open your mind and to make you challenge yourself."
What have you discovered about yourself during high school?
"I have the ability to do anything as long as I stay focused and work hard. Any dream can be achieved with effort and support."
What is your favorite Rose Festival event and why?
"It's hard to pick just one but the Starlight Parade is the best. The floats, people and the lights make it wonderful and amazing. It's something I look forward to every year since I was a little kid."
