A shooting at the top of Rocky Butte in Northeast Portland brought police from North and East precincts, police with dogs and the Gang Enforcement Team to the scene, at 2:01 am Saturday Aug. 15, 2015.
A 9-1-1 call as officers drove to the scene reported that three gunshot victims arrived by car at a nearby medical facility. The three victims— males in their late teens or early 20s—were transported by ambulance to a Portland hospital for treatment. None of their injuries appear to be life-threatening.
Officers found evidence of gunfire at the top of Rocky Butte and are now looking for suspects.
Police believe the shooting is gang-related and ask anyone who witnessed the shooting or who has information to call the Police Non-Emergency Line at 503-823-3333.
