After saying the N-word 11 times during her radio call-in show, Dr. Laura Schlessinger says she will be leaving radio, to get her "1st Amendment rights back."

The tirade of epithets came during a call in which a woman wanted advice about what to do when White relatives made racial comments. Schlessinger said she was "hypersensitive" to racism and said that because Blacks use the epithet with each other, it shouldn't be that big a deal when Whites use it.
She has apologized for the radio segment. During her announcement that she will leave radio, on "Larry King Live," she said believes her books, blog, YouTube channel and her website will allow her more free outlets to express herself without the threats that have come since the N-word tirade.
