The mother of Kenneth Bae has left North Korea "more anxious than ever" to bring her imprisoned and ailing son home.

After close to 50 years with Wells Fargo bank, Laverne Hampton is retiring from the Walnut Park branch. Her first day serving bank customers was Sept 14, 1964. Her last day is Tuesday.

Gail Shibley, Chief of Staff for Portland Mayor Charlie Hales, announced today that Baruti Artharee, Policy Director for Public Safety, is retiring from public service. His last day will be Thursday, October 17th, 2013.
