Portland was well represented at this past weekend's NBA All-Star festivities.

The local highlight of the weekend was Jefferson High School alumni Terrence Ross of the Toronto Raptors winning the Sprite Slam Dunk competition. Although he wasn't favored to win, Ross made it to the finals, where he defeated last year's winner, Jeremy Evans of the Utah Jazz, to take home the title. Terrence Jones of the Houston Rockets, another Jefferson alum and Ross's former teammate, assisted him on one of his final dunks.

The Portland Trailblazers also had a strong showing over the weekend. Rookie point guard Damian Lillard won the Taco Bell Skills Competition and also participated in the Rising Stars Challenge.

Forward LaMarcus Aldridge competed in his second straight All-Star Game, where he tallied four rebounds, two blocks and one assist.
