Black-owned pillows? Say no more!

Dihandria Bright is a Georgia State University alum and the founder of PillowScript, a business that came to her in a dream in 2019. Making her dream a reality, PillowScript launched December 2021.

“I faced many challenges and heard many no’s and 'it’s impossible,' but I believed that if I could see the vision then I could create it. Life happened, pregnancy and the pandemic, so I put it on hold. When it was time for me to return to work after my maternity leave, I decided that I would pick it back up and make it happen so that I could have a better work-life balance and freedom to be present with my infant," Bright told VoyageHouston.

Now these chic and creative pillows are available for purchase at Target as part of their 9th annual Black History Month collection. You can find the pillows displayed amongst other Black-owned brands!

@pillowscript I’m so thankful!! 🙌🏾💕 The one thing i’ve learned in the first year of entrepreneurship is to Never Give Up! Keep going hard for your dreams! 🥹🙌🏾🎯✨ #targetblackhistory #blackbeyondmeasure #targethomedecor2023 #custompillow #pillowdesign ♬ Jhene W.A.Y.S - Isaac🥶

“Never give up on yourself. You are capable of way more than you realize and once you break through the comfort zone, your biggest dreams and desires will materialize on the other side. Keep going, your best is yet to come! That is the spirit of PillowScript.”

Be sure to visit Target online or in-store to get your “Shine” and “Glow” PillowScript pillows!

Your hard work has paid off! Congratulations, Dihandria.
