Susan Fried has worked as the chief photographer for The Seattle Skanner for more than 20 years. She has documented popular movements, business development, community institutions and youth activities -- as well as the Dalai Llama's historic meeting with Bishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa. She mounted her first art showing of her documentary work and art images in 2013.
