Brian Stimson of The Skanner News

The Fire Frashour Campaign will be holding a demonstration at 4 p.m. in front of Portland City Hall today, June 11.
The campaign is calling for the dismissal of officer Ron Frashour, who fatally shot the unarmed Aaron Campbell in January. The campaign is also calling for the firing of any police officer involved in a fatal shooting.
The campaign calls specifically for:
"The firing of Officers Frashour, Humphreys, Walters and all other killer cops --including those responsible for the death of Keaton Otis; open contract negotiations between the City of Portland and the Portland Police Association; an end to mandatory arbitration in the Portland Police Association contract."
"We are tired of the police murdering people with impunity, facing neither criminal charges nor meaningful discipline" said Geoff McNamara, a member of the campaign in a statement. "Real police accountability means that the public has the direct ability to hold the cops responsible for their actions. This is why we say, 'Fire All Killer Cops'."
