As the Portland Branch of the NAACP continues the expansion of its membership and influence, a new office will be opened in the old “consumer opinion” space on the 2nd floor of the Lloyd Center Mall, next to Marshall’s on the east end.

At noon on Wednesday, April 4, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held.

"We hope to see our members and guests at our new office in the Lloyd Center at noon on the powerfully symbolic date of April 4, exactly 50 years since the horrific assassination of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr,” says new NAACP Portland Branch president, Pastor E.D. Mondainé.

Anyone interested in attending may RSVP here.
