Dr. Fayron Epps, PhD, RN, will talk about the importance of healthy aging, how family members can support older adults in their lives and how to stay physically, mentally and socially active as one ages on May 16, 1-3 p.m. at the June Key Delta Community Center, 5940 N. Albina Ave.

Dr. Epp has more than 15 years of nursing experience. She is an assistant professor at Georgia State University Byrdine F. Lewis School of Nursing and Health Professions and is an affiliate faculty member with the Gerontology Institute. Her research interests include promoting quality of life for African Americans with dementia and their family caregivers.
