The Mayor’s office is hosting a series of monthly community forums until the Portland Committee on Community-Engaged Policing (PCCEP) is established and members are seated. The forums will be held the last Wednesday of every month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The goal of these forums is to hear community concerns and feedback about public safety, continue to build relationships and trust with Portland communities, update the community on the progress of establishing the PCCEP, and provide continuing updates on the City’s compliance with the Settlement Agreement.

At this month’s forum, City officials will update the community on the status of the Portland Committee on Community-Engaged Policing and the community will have an opportunity to ask the City questions and offer comment on the current state of policing in Portland.

The forum will be live-streamed and broadcast on Channel 30.
