St. Andrew Nativity School

State Senator Lew Frederick will be visiting St. Andrew Nativity School to give a talk about his experience growing up in the South and his current career as a State Senator. Sen. Frederick knew the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. during his childhood.

The talk will take place at St. Andrew Nativity School, 4925 NE 9th Avenue on Friday, January 11 at 8:00 a.m. in the Thea Bowman room of the community center. Members of the community are welcome to attend the event.

 About St. Andrew Nativity School:

St. Andrew Nativity School is Oregon's only tuition-free, private middle school for low income students. Located in Northeast Portland, just off 9th and Alberta, Nativity School offers a challenging academic program that prepares students for college preparatory high schools. Ninety-six percent of Nativity School students go on to graduate from high school and 80 percent go on to attend college.
