Starting today, restaurants in 15 Oregon counties will have to suspend indoor dining because of extreme risk coronavirus restrictions announced by Governor Kate Brown. In a press conference today, U.S. Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR) discussed the $28.6 billion federal restaurant relief program that will begin accepting applications on Monday, May 3 at 9:00 a.m. PT.

Blumenauer is encouraging restaurants to prepare now and apply immediately on Monday because of the high demand for relief. Those seeking relief money through the restaurant revitalization fund should register today, and be ready to complete their application Monday, May 3. More information and the link to register to apply is here
