The two center traffic lanes on the Broadway Bridge will be closed during an inspection on Sunday, December 12 from 9 a.m. until as late as 1 p.m.  The lane closures will allow an inspection of the streetcar tracks on the drawbridge. The outside traffic lanes and sidewalks will remain open. Due to reduced vertical clearance in the outside lanes, trucks and TriMet’s Broadway #17 bus will detour to the Steel Bridge.

Portland Streetcar will not cross the bridge during the inspection. For information about Streetcar service, visit http://www.portlandstreetcar.org/alerts.
