Mariah Taylor, who has directed the North Portland Nurse Practitioners Community Health Clinic for nearly 26 years, will not be returning as director when she comes back to the clinic as a nurse practitioner in March following medical leave. The clinic's board reportedly recently asked her to step down as director. Efforts by The Skanner to reach Taylor and former board member Kelly Clark, who recently became the board's attorney, for comments were unsuccessful.
