A new county flag was introduced at King County's 22nd Annual Martin Luther King Celebration, held at Seattle's Paramount Theatre on Jan 22. The image on the flag is the design adopted as the new logo for King County in 2007. Above, Metropolitan King County Councilmember Larry Gossett, left, and Council Chair Dow Constantine, right, are joined by County Executive Ron Sims in unveiling the new King County Flag, bearing the likeness of the County's namesake, The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
