Dock Thompson Dies at 99

Services were held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church on March 27, for Dock Thompson, who passed away March 19, at age 99.
Thompson was born March 18, 1910, in Clarksville, Texas. He was employed by the City of Portland Parks Department, tending area parks for years. He was a longtime member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He loved to talk and share in past and current events.
He is survived by grandson Jerry Thompson, daughter Loretta Thompson and many relatives and friends. Arrangements were by Ross Hollywood Chapel.
